are AI and Tmac considered superstars?
are AI and Tmac considered superstars?
Melo isn't in the same level as those two guys.
I have come to realize that both are equally as important. Names matter as much as talent nowadays. Hes a crowd draw and sells jersies like few others can, thats star power. Are we judging fame or basketball when we say superstar? I'm confused dudes talking about jersey sales and where he plays
he's famous but he doesnt play basketball at a superstar level IMO at least not consistently
this is exactly why I pray for a Carmelo trade everyday isolation ball wont win it might win you a playoff series but it wont get you to the finalsVolume scorers, dont really make teammates better, led league in scoring, 7-11 time all stars, never won anything. Sounds about right.
You ain't lying. It's been amazing seeing the narrative around Carmelo Anthony change in this forum over the years. I remember at one point a while back folks really felt as though he was going to be better than LeBron James and now folks are saying he can't be compared career wise to Tracy McGrady.
Can't really compare Lebron and melo to wiggins and Parker. Considering Lebron never played collegeYou ain't lying.
I bring this up all the time when people talk about Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins on here. It's the EXACT same narrative as Lebron/Melo on this board back in 2003.
Not saying that's how Parker/Wiggins will turn out but it looks EERILY familiar.
People were tired of the hype and doubted Lebron and Melo was the "NBA ready" underdog who was the better player to people.
I'm not comparing the players. Can't really compare Lebron and melo to wiggins and Parker. Considering Lebron never played college
Lebron came into the league from day 1 and was a beast, so one could only assume he would do the same thing had he gone to college
I would be surprised if either wiggins or Parker had a first year like James had. Production wise and impact wise
Right, but what are really saying? You saying things could be flip flopped between Parker and wiggins on the next level?I'm not comparing the players.
I'm comparing the narrative. Which is EXACTLY the same.
Volume scorers, dont really make teammates better, led league in scoring, 7-11 time all stars, never won anything. Sounds about right.

That's all true, but they were both still better than Melo.
not this **** again
