As long.as he's the head coach its his defense. He is going ro have to make the call

Thats his main problem and always will be.. He doesnt have a HC mentality... He has an OCoord one... He only wants to focus on the O and pays ZERO attention to what is going on with the D... Guys around Michigan were floored when they saw "practices"... The D was just a skeleton and their main focus was getting the offense better... He is a great offensive mind, although I question some of his ways in regards to S&C and OL. but his success with O has been great... But with regards to being the head man, he leaves a lot to be desired... Hope he gets it at Zona... Or not, I dont care.

And if Tavon does work, De'Anthony should benefit off that.

as fun as de'anthony is to watch and as much as i would like to see him succeed
i think he's gonna be in a position limbo in the nfl

I know it'll be a transition for him, but like Percy/Tavon, they will find a use for him. His speed will demand it.

My point was moreso Tavon going at 8 was rare case. If he does well, could benefit Thomas as well.

Kiffin: "If we're so concerned about player safety, are you right to allow systems that increase a game by 20 plays."

:smh: Come on, dude. All this talk about banning hurry-up offenses is ridiculous. I thought DCs were gonna figure this stuff out and it would just phase out on its own?

Lane's just trolling.  His offense goes for it on 4th down for no reason.  He's not buying into the whole "gimmick offense" debate.  He's just jabbing Oregon/Zona/etc. in the ribs because everyone said his dad couldn't stop them and because he's a troll.

Well he'll his dad couldn't stop them. 700+ yards against Oregon :wow: 600+ yards against Zona :wow:

Michigan was supposed to be back, then the App State disaster happened and things started to really trend downward. Now I think things are finally heaidng in the right direction.

I propose SOS start the 2013 Miami Hurricanes thread, seeing how successful the Michigan Wolverines thread was. :nerd:
