According to NT, Warriors are gonna body The Cavs. :nerd:

Not surprising. Everyone talks a big game about Bron, but they don't really believe in him. Just like they were slandering Westbrook all the time but he ran away with the NT MVP vote as well.

NT putting all their trust in two players like KD/Curry who both seem to have thier worst games when their teams need them most[emoji]129300[/emoji]....Maybe Iggy can lead them to victory?

Saw the discussion earlier about Draymond's "expertise" on defense and if he's better on D than prime Artest. Dray's advantage over Artest was that Green could guard at least 4 of 5 positions, but can also guard a "small" center if need be. Artest, imo, was a better lockdown defender on the wing not to mention Artest' hands on D were among the best of his era. Dude seemingly got his hands on almost everything and would jar the ball loose or strip you every time you'd try to back him down or try to drive by him.

Speaking of defense, the '96-'98 Bulls had three of the top 7 best defensive players of ALL TIME in Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman.

This version of the Warriors with Curry, Klay, and Durant would have had all sorts of problems with those Bulls, which is why I don't see the Warriors of last year or this year, as great as they are offensively, topping the Bulls in a 7-game series.

That Bulls team was arguably one of the fiercest teams in NBA history when it came to mental toughness and defensive superiority. And with MJ and Pip, they could still find a way to score points when they needed to.

Or maybe it's a..... team game?

Do the Lakers ever beat the celtics if they didn't have Artest harassing Paul Pierce instead of Vladimir Radmanovich?

Do the Bulls even come close to 6 in 8 without Scottie's blend of ball handling and scoring and defense on the perimeter and the Rodman/Grant defense & rebounding?

How important was Kobe during that 3-peat?

Nah they just don't believe in him. Even when Bean didn't have the horses info 2008 the general public and odds makers favored him against a better team. Lebbywinks is a false prophet.

right but still...none of the 'other guys' are as important as the mj's, the kobes, the brons. Without the main guys, the 'other guys' would never even be in the position to contribute. Of course they're important, but they're not the most important.

I still haven't seen one legitimate basketball reason why the Cavs are gonna win.

Kobe wasn't the underdog back in 2008? So he's never been the underdog? Can't recall, thought 2008 he would of been the underdog, didn't have homecourt going against the original BIG 3 + Rondo.

Nope Lakers were favored every finals they were in during the 2000s. They didn't eem believe in Bron against some kids going in, not that he really gave them reason to after that debacle against Dallas the previous year.

I mean, yeah of course? I don't think anyone would say Fox was as important as Shaq or that BJ Armstrong is as important as Pippen.

But they matter. A lot. This isn't tennis and your roster outside of your star(s) goes a very long way towards determining w's / l's.

You can believe in Bron and still think the Warriors will win the series
