So no blame at all for Billy? Russ was chucking no doubt but he had to.

He wasn't just keeping OKC in it, he had them controlling the game up to that point man. They were getting whatever they wanted.
When he came back in they had the lead though.

He should have added back to it.

He lost it and went further in the hole by taking every shot.

at the 11;30mark of the 4th score was

94- OKC

86- Hou

And Russ played the rest of the game from there on with an 8pt lead.

OK, so he had an 8pt lead in the 4th, and playd all of it.....

Is it now his fault if he took every shot?

Or you still blaming Billy D?

Lot of coaching, even down a good amount, Rockets rested Harden for the home stretch. OKC should/could have done the same.

Fatigue definitely played a part.

I remember Russ having a similar game in the finals where he took over for a stretch and then single handedly lost the game in the 4th. It's just who he is. Even if you're gonna take every shot you need to play off ball and let somebody else get you a good look. If you hoop you already know that tho

Can you blame Billy D for resting westbrook when it's obvious that he insists in doing everything on O he just likes iso

From that point, Sabonis missed twice, Singler once and Vic once. Russ took 1 shot and the lead was gone. 94-93. And Billy D inexplicably takes McBuckets who made a 3 off a Russ pass and got another wide open look to start the quarter as well. Those two clearly had chemistry tonight.

Javale really comes in the game for 4-5 minutes, catches lobs, then sits back down
