i want to expound on this

to accept the dictionary definition of racism, basing it solely on race, alleviates the notion that white supremacy is not the driving force behind racism

when i say all racism is institutional, that is to say that all racism benefits white supremacy

white supremacy and institutional racism are interchangeable

as white people are responsible for the institutions

now, institutional racism has two forms, systemic and individual, which together and in tandem drive racism

systemic racism is discriminatory or racist policy that public instititutions (law enforcement, criminal justice, public transportation, financial centers etc) either create or follow

individual racism is specific to people, acting in accordance with the knowledge that these institutions implicitly support racism

when jim crow and segregation were around, individuals could act racist with the knowledge that systemically, the repercussions for their actions simply didnt exist

when lnychings and other attacks of terrorism against blacks took place, it was with the tacit approval of these institutions

"picnics" as they were back then were a public spectacle

the people in attendance did not have to fear arrest or reprisal from law enforcement, because law enforcement was in full support of these racist ideologies

when rosa parks decided she wasnt going to get up out her seat, it was the systemic form of racism that dictated blacks had to sit in the back for the comfort of white riders

now the individual form of racism is illustrated in the actions of the bus driver, who also levied racist insults and physical force over mrs parks, demonstrating how individuals can behave when they know institutions are in support of racism

as far as racism between nonwhite races, this belief that races can be racist against each other once again ignores the power dynamic that whites enjoy

however, it is on the basis of white supremacy that other races feel they can also "share" in this power dynamic by being "racist" towards blacks

however, other races do not truly enjoy the benefits of white supremacy, only insofar as they are insulated within the white power structure

prejudices that exist between races have been engineered to create and sow this discord

the saying "everyone wants to a *****, but no one wants to be a *****" encapsulates this idea of cultural appropriation as a form of social engineering

while they are looking down on us, they are also dependant upon our "black dollars" to enrich their own neighborhoods, schools etc

it is the aim of white supremacy to present a target to which both whites and nonblacks can focus their energy

while other races are busy being not black, whites simply propagate and continue to build upon their power structure under the title of "political correctness"

it is my belief that until these other races recognize the fact that they will at some point also suffer the same indignities as the black race in america, that things will never change
 
you are absolving individuals of their actions by connecting everything to institutionalized racism.

its the notion of "taking on for the team" when racists decide to display such barbaric acts of racism

to put it another way, if for example pedophiles knew that it publicly, these institutions were in support of their degeneracy, then we would see more jareds from subway being as blatant and open about it as he was to people

it how zimmerman was able to kill trayvon martin, and then retweet a picture of his dead body

if racists actually had to fear reprisal from institutions, their behavior would reflect that

think of it like the death penalty

if there were no death penalty, a lot more people might decide to kill 

but there is no such thing as a "death penalty" for racists

by fostering the idea that it is not connected, it is you in fact who are absolving them

i do not enjoy the benefits of this power structure therefore reprisal for me incarceration or death

for whites that are racist, they only face minor public outcry, but in the end whites still take care of each other

When anxiety occurs, the mind first responds by an increase in problem-solving thinking, seeking rational ways of escaping the situation. If this is not fruitful (and maybe anyway), a range of defense mechanisms may be triggered. These are tactics which the Ego develops to help deal with the Id and the Super Ego.

All Defense Mechanisms share two common properties :
  • They often appear unconsciously.
  • They tend to distort, transform, or otherwise falsify reality.
In distorting reality, there is a change in perception which allows for a lessening of anxiety, with a corresponding reduction in felt tension.
