They can drop them whenever they want though. Not unheard of for boutiques to drop a day or two after official drop date.

I feel like that can get them into trouble legally. Isn't that why most companies that have contest always put the "no purchase required" disclaimer?

Right, that's the case with most of these digital raffle systems. My point was that there's no way you'd actually know for sure that it happened to you because they wouldn't inform you of it.
