The proposed release of this year's "banned" may or may not include the branded X on the heel but it won't come close to the craftsmanship of this shoe imo. That leather is still tops after so many wears as it should be and used to be of years past when quality was paramount!

Better than 01, but between SBB's, it's subjective to the owner(s) that has both, or one of the two.

i didnt really like the leather on my sbb....had to sell both pairs because of it....love my 2001 leather on my bred 1's....

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only black/red 1 I'd take over the Banned's is the OG 1 from '85.
