I was just about to comment on this as well.  The patent leather seems to have some sort of a matte finish...

it makes total sense in the 'cost' POV.

producing the lows at the same time... since Mids/ lows basically are the same... using the same materials, u can produce two highly anticipated models and double up on $$$.

remember some NTers on here stated how the fusions came to be.... using the "left over" materials from all models here and there to produce the fusions...

Nowhere does it say they are releasing the same month.The MN article stated "releasing later this year"Im 100% sure they wont be releasing the same month.

Im guessing these will see an October release. Just a guess, since black red 4s come out in November, and then the Mids in December.
