Supposedly. Seems feasible though. Nike tends to drop the majority of their stock on these shock drops.

all speculation but pretty much. seems between shock and ea there wasnt much for release day on snkrs for the 8s. seeing ppl report now lots of late shipments to foot stores, but who knows, everyone’s area is different

Makes sense. I know everyone, myself included, thought they'd be easy to get like 8s usually are, only for them to sell out very quickly. Would also explain why all the subsequent restocks have been bought up almost instantly every time as well.
