Americans taking fewest vacation days in four decades

I put in for the week of Dec.19th - 28th at work. Very excited. Waited forever for this day.. This will be my first Christmas break since college 6 years ago.

Love my job 19th is my last day of the year. I don't have to come back until the 6th of Jan. we get 28 days of vacation and unlimited sick time. We get a week off during the summer for shutdown and 2 weeks off for winter shut down. Get paid every holiday the day before and after. If we work on either of those days it's double time.

I switched to 12 hrs from 5 days a week. I love it.

I got tired of the m-f 6-2:30 schedule.

American Capitalism is slowly regressing to those days where kids were working in coal mines and dudes aint have a day off except Sunday.  Not saying we're there yet but it's not terribly far off.
