Sociology major but I'm done with all the King Hall classes, specially the 3rd floor.
All my classes are in the new CRIM building this quarter.
As awesome as UCSB and living in Isla Vista is, I'm a Film/Journalism major and UCSB only offers a Film Studies program rather than aproduction program and they don't offer a journalism major. When I applied for the CSUN film program I didn't get accepted, but two and a half yearslater finally I've been accepted. So I'll be double majoring in Cinema Television Arts and Journalism at CSUN.Originally Posted by MonopolyMan630

Just curious, why the switch from UCSB to CSUN?

I know sounds boring..but that's why I'm going to be doing the internship soon to find methods on how to make the class both equally entertaining and comprehensive in the field of U.S history or World history. Still undecided on what to teach in either high school or middle school.

^^^^^After teaching a few years, I went for a Masters degree in Educational Counseling because I didn't want to be in the classroom forever. I earned it at the University of La Verne in 18 months. You earn a Masters + a Counseling credential. You cannot become a counselor without it. CSUDH has a good counseling program also. If you have any other questions, I will be happy to share info. Peace.
