exaclty the kidd trade was a waste only thing thats a plus from kidd is rebonds. D harris was avg 17pts before thetrade and im glad hes doing his thing in NJ. As a nets fan, i think that trade had made both team worst off. Nets could probably make the playoff or even the second round if kidd remain in jersey, on theother hand, Dallas could use Harris to match up with CP3 as well.

I'd have to disagree. I think the way things were going in Jersey, a change was needed. Kidd wasn't playing with much passion out there.He wasn't tanking it, but you could tell his heart wasn't in it anymore & just wanted out. When he was here, we were struggling & there wereconstant distractions. I honestly think we would have missed the playoffs either way.

It was a good trade for Jersey also because now we have a future to build on. Devin, Sean, Josh, etc. Who knows what the offseason will bring, but I like ourchances in the future.

What's funny to me is Jason Kidd is being criticized for not scoring....like did anyone really expect his scoring to be that significant? Devin Harrisgave the mavs like 14 a game. Did yall expect Kidd to put up similar scoring? better?. Jason Kidd/CP3 is the least of the Mav's worries. I dont see howyall aint expect this young dude CP3 to beast or something. He's an MVP candidate. He has the ability to score at will...on like 90% of NBA teams. Ican't remember the last team that legitimately has rights to saying we shut down Chris Paul and I guarantee if there is one, theres not many more than one.

What's more important is team defense and allowing him to get the other "bums" involved. There is clearly a chemistry issue with the Mavs thatisn't going well. I think it has a lot to do with time/coaching. Obviously Kidd's numbers aren't good, but I really don't think it takes alot of scoring from Kidd for the Mavs to be successful. I was under the impression he was supposed to be a 4th option when it came to scoring? Like whohonestly thought Kidd was gonna come to the Mavs and be a scorer?

Butthen again at the end of the day Kidd is the major name here, and regardless of circumstances he will be criticized for it. sorta like a mild case of TMACsyndrome

What's funny is if anyone were to pick a PG to distribute and make others better I'm sure Kidd is in the equation 99% of the time, but since him comingit's actually looked detrimental to his teammates play. Dudes can't score. If Kidd is finding them and its not yielding anything, at the pointKidd's utility has been chopped severely. It's more of a coaching/chemistry thing. More coaching in my opinion. Dirk is gonna do what he doesregardless of who gets him the ball. Terry needs way more touches. I feel like he is the person with the most potential to benefit from this trade, and itsbeen true for the most part. He just needs more touches. At this point Terry needs to become the primary 2nd option...even off the bench. Like similar to aGinobilli role. Josh Howard needs to get smacked into realizing he's not as good as he thinks he is offensively. I think Josh should take about a 2-3mincut in his PT and Terry should get those 2-3 more mins. Stack just needs to knock down shots and play just as good as he did last playoffs. I guarantee ifeveryone else played as good as they played last year in the playoffs (even tho they lost) the Mavs wouldn't even be in a bad predicament.

CP3 would still get his, but, Devin would make CP3 work on the defensive end.

Devin is quick himself, and CP3 would have to chase dude around.

He'd also take a few charges.

As compared to now, where CP3 doesn't have to play up on Kidd, as Kidd isn't a threat to knock down the j. As a result, he can play the passing lanes.

All the Mavs have to do really is let Kidd back down CP3, and get him in foul trouble. Ain't no way CP3 can contain Kidd on the block.

But they're not doing that.

And, J-Ho is that dude, but ever since the Kidd deal, he's been mad inconsistent.

Diop would help right about now putting a body on West or Chandler, as opposed to having to rely on Bass.

But that's hindsight, and 'what if.'

In the here and now, Dallas owns the Hornets at home, so win game 3, and it's a whole new ball game.

Unless your watching the games you would realize it ain't like they are clearing the floor and letting Paul beat Jason one on one, what's happeningis that we keep switching and Paul is raping the big.
