I've had an iPhone/smart phone for over a decade now. 6 phones in total.

I probably average 1.5 drops per year, I have cracked 2 screens. Only replaced a screen 1x, the other time I just bought a new phone because it was time anyway.

A dropped phone event is part of life. Again, hedging against it is not worth compromising aesthetics.

Do you make payments or do you buy straight up? If I’m paying over a rack for my phone I’m making sure it’s protected. I’ve dropped it a few times but with a case I have that piece of mind.

Might just cop that mini. I want the smallest phone possible. Seeing that the pro is mainly camera/media upgrades, I am really glad apple did that.

12 Pro seems close in size to the current Max. I may stick with that if I can hold a model.

Pricing seems reasonable too.
