The iPhone 5s is identified as model iPhone 6,1. Kind of complicated to really explain without going into explanations about Apple's naming conventions, but they've got it right.

I've had my phone for less than a week, about no more than 5 albums on it 

and my phone says it has 8 gigs left 

I'm just concerned with the longevity of it always deleting items... got to upgrade it

held a note 3 naked today, felt good in the hands. The 6 plus is only 1 mm less wide. A 1mm or less case would be cool. Only problem I may run into is if it'll stick out of my front pocket. Definitely leaning towards the 6 plus more than the 6 now tho

Didn't have my phone in a case. Got hit by a dominos pizza driver. Phone found 15 meters away from me. Fml. Looks like it's 4 years old on the corners. Screen didn't crack but bottom left near the o button is cracked. FML

Eh, TBH I'd just put more money into getting an Air refurbished.

You'll get much better performance out of it without breaking into the $1k range of the Pro's.


$350 isn't bad at all though. I mean, its still a macbook and it will be solid for everyday usage if you aren't planning on doing resource heavy tasks by todays standards.

I'm not sure how Yosemite runs on something that age, but it can't be that bad.

It's not bad, I'm running Yosemite on a late 09 Macbook. Apple really does squeeze what they can out of older hardware when a new OS comes out. Max out the RAM and get a new battery and he should be good to go.

Although if you can spend a little more going the refurb Air route probably would be better, and if you've got an iPhone it'll let you use Handoff (the one thing I do want a new mac for right now)

Got my 6+ yesterday... OMG I love this phone.

The set up was very easy but it took a lil bit of time for the phone to activate.

I will have to get used to the size in terms of storage in my pocket. The chest pockets inside & outside of jackets if perfect for this phone...

Going to get the Zagg tempered glass screen protector later today. Not sure I like the Supcase Unicorn Beetle I have. Think I'm going to get the Incipio Rival case.

Watching live TV via the Xfinity X1 app or a flick via Netflix is amazing.

I was in a Verizon unlimited data plan which I had to change when upgrading to this phone. I picked a 4GB plan with mobile hot spot for $50 a month. When I called to confirm my rate, the rep told me I could get 8GB with mobile hot spot for the same price which of course I did.

No they'll hold it, the only issue I can think of is if you decide that you want to change the terms of how you're buying it. I paid with a partial upgrade for my 6+ then decided I wanted to do NEXT instead, and it locked me out of my upgrade eligibility for about 96 hours. Had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get everything squared away on AT&T's end, but once that was taken care of it was a quick 9 minutes from the time I got to talk to an Apple Specialist to me walking out of the door.

I've only had my 6+ since yesterday mid morning. I'm not a skinny jean guy but I wouldn't put it in my pants pocket if I'm sitting.

You really have to be an idiot to bend this phone.

The slimness of the phone as well as the smoothness does lend itself to dropped if you go naked.

I like the feel of a case on the phone.

The vibrate on this thing is like an earthquake though... Damn.... "Scurred" the ish outta me when my wife called. Ain't missing no more calls in the future.

As for the phone portion of the device, the sound quality of the phone is much better than the 4S I had. It sounds like the person is inside my phone.

Now all I need is a Samantha OS for the phone.
