The 2019 DBS Superleggera is the company’s new halo model, a lightweight super GT dressed with sculpted carbon fiber body panels and an apparently really angry twin-turbo V12 under the bonnet.

Aston Martin’s 5.2-liter V12 has been tuned to produce 715hp (725PS) and 663lb-ft (900Nm) of peak torque. Paired to it is a rear-mounted ZF eight-speed automatic transmission while the rear axle features a mechanical limited-slip differential with torque vectoring.

The British brand claims the new DBS Superleggera is capable of a 0-62mph (100km/h) in 3.4 seconds and a 0-100mph (161km/h) in 6.4 seconds. As a car “dedicated to delivering an unforgettable driving experience”, Aston’s flagship also claims class-leading in-gear acceleration, offering 50-100mph in fourth gear in 4.2 seconds. Top speed is 211mph (339km/h).
