I'm currently in this shxthole. But to answer the question, yes it is a dump
Damn why?
Your by the water, you can get messed up n gamble. It can't be that terrible.
You can try Sugar House casino in Philly. Never been, but it seems fine. Are their any other alternatives nearby to it that are better? I'm gonna be in Philly again later this summer
Yeah there's a lot of old people all over casinos in the northeast. Kinda weird.
There's some talk of building casinos in north NJ, which for me would be perfect and probably better for business.

I've been out of NJ for 2 years but casinos in North NJ is a HORRIBLE idea. Traffic is bad as it is now, it's gonna much much worse if that happens.

Yea...Christie talked about building casinos in N. NJ. Even with the failures in AC, Revel immediately coming to mind, he thinks that the revenue generated there would help desolate cities like AC. With casinos closing up left and right, there are no jobs...this obviously has a direct effect on the economy, schools, and general infrastructure. When I was in my room at the Borgata, it overlooked most of AC. I'd look out of my window during supposed rush hour times during the work week, and there would hardly be any cars. It was sad to see.
What's killing the gambling in Jersey are the casinos in CT as well as in MD. There is literally no point for anyone from the DMV to go up to AC anymore with table games now legal at MD Live. Also, MGM is coming over the National Harbor (3 min outside of DC) within the next 2-3 years.
Currently, it's a wrap for the tourism/revenue for AC.
AC aint that bad... i swear yall act like it aint nothing to do or see out there... gamble , cheap drinks, gamble, shop, eat , and gamble... what else do you want? Nters are getting lamer each month...

Put it this way...if you had to choose between a vacation in AC or Afghanistan, you'd have to think about it for a minute.
