I got that as well. When I pre-ordered the game earlier, I also ordered a 3-month XBL card, and then I find out I have $25 credit towards a 1 year of Live. Go figure.
I'll probably buy it by the 19th and just have it on hold for January/February, whenever the 3-month ends. They don't expire right?

Anyways,
Game is well... CoD... Its cool. but *%!@!$%% deaths as usual...
But i will say, idk if This game (MW3) is more connection based than Black Ops was... Depending on host... The whole lobby would be on 4s and i only on 3 and you can just feel the differance
What is fun though is the KS... By that i mean the Pred, Reaper Drone, and Ac130.. Fun to get those
Characters look and run ugly as $%!!...
Map Visuals... id compare to Black Ops... But the ways the maps play.. By gah, you run into someone and try to duck and regen health or reload and there is another 3rd guy running towards you to your sides and kills you
Its like man... Can i just take a breath for a sec... Both Good and Bad.
Characters move very slow compared to Blops. Coming from * ... it sorta makes readjusting a bit easier...
Guns are sometimes inconstant. Head glitching spots are crazy...
Anyways, so far the game is .. Coo.... Better then the game that shall not be named... Nah, not from the brief first impressions but its cool.
I still need to play the game a bit more to see whats really good.. So yeah... Anyways ill be on Tmw...
Edit: Oh and the Snipers are way Way WAY TOO EASY to use...
Edit 2:MW3 > MW2 ... From the brief playtime... Which is a plus...

i LOVE it so far even tho as with every gamer and every game i have already begun a laundry list of complaints...most of which time and practice will fix.

i neeeeeedddd my c4...for some reason it seems like the flags on dom are super far apart and often at start up you dont even start close to one of em or you start already on top of it.
i will skip mission every damb time. map sucks
spawns could use a slapping around
iron sights on the m4, scar and cm901 are down righr disrespectful...i mean they suck terribly imo
SMG'S come with lightweight basically . i was moving to fast at some points running into walls and whatnot
got jugg twice. beastly. got escort airdrop twice. weak. never got a kill or a carepackage. no lie
SNIPERS/QUICKSCOPERS/DRAGSCOPERS will ruin this game. its to easy. with the magnet bullets its basically get close, get OHK
and last but def not least.....COD:MW3 IS BOUT DAT KNIFE. the lunge is crazy. feels like IW is trolling us then they'll patch it up after we complain.
saw a finalkillcam where dude lunged from so far away that the knife never touched homie
still the most fun ive had on a fps since mw2. will be back on early tom. and afterwork.

Anything I type in for a Clan Tag gets "Denied due to prohibited text". Any idea what I can do?

I'm liking the game so far. Frustrating at times but pretty much all games are.
My W/L ratio is looking pretty crappy since I've been solo TD'ing. My K/D is around 2.3 right now with like 15 matches played.
Most of the maps are pretty dope, theres this one map though (don't even know the name) and its just
. Just dudes propped up in these camp star windows in these 3 buildings. Avoiding that map at all costs once I figure out the name

can anyone explain how DLC is gonna work with/without COD: Elite? You'll still be able to buy all the maps without the Elite membership right?
