Clubs I go to don't allow anyone who would even ask this type of question.

Couple of the dudes on the team will not go to any place they can't wear kicks too. Dudes are 30+ too. Sometimes we gotta break up and go to different venues because of dress code.

I always wear sneakers when going out though. Unless the club has a specific dress code I've never been denied entrance, even in the high end clubs.

I've worn Jordans to the club and i have a career and logic. Really just depends on the city you're clubbing in though. Nice cities aint gonna let that **** fly unless you're getting bottle service and even then they trip.
