Dressing Better Vol 2.0

I did the same then!

The overall goal of the thread is to discuss fashion obviously but it's important all members respect each other. It boggles my mind how immature some can be. I see threads under Jordan Section getting locked up because discussion about shoe releases can't be civilized. Such a shame.

So I have been in NYC for a week now. I took my last final last week and I got my first offer today. Only thing is that it's here in NYC. I'm a southern boy and have no plan to live the south. On the other had it's a great salary with great perks.

Not sure I will take it.

Bro, that sounds like an awesome opportunity.

If you never leave your comfort zone, you will never grow as an individual. I would take that offer in a heartbeat.

That'll be $300 please.

Don't like them that much...

That's what I said

I am prior Navy and have been stationed all around the world. I am happy in Houston. When I first got out the Navy I worked for Schlumberger. Even-though I made a butt load of money, but I absolutely hated going to work everyday.

While it's a great opportunity, I have to make sure I am happy.

What line of work did you do there afte the Navy?

I see what you are trying to do, but I think you slightly missed the mark. The jacket seems a little tight as you can see the bunching around the arms and the pulling of the buttons. Also you should have done a Bowtie with oxfords or no tie with an unbuttoned jacket and the loafers. It looks like you went to the mall with the intention to purchase all of this together. It doesn't look natural.
It does appear as more of a costume.  I personally just don't like it. But its your(proto) style

It's for a Gatsby themed party so it really is kinda supposed to be a costume, though.

Man people always wanna come at Proto's neck for no reason.

Seems like it

Congrats man :pimp: . Definitely take your time and think about it but if you think you can handle the NYC lifestyle and will be a good opportunity to advance your career then take it. Good luck with the decision.

Hey, Wis. How long does mytailor usually take to ship your shirts? I'm going to try them out since moderntailor nearly took a month

nvm I see 5-8 weeks, I'll try my luck with moderntailor again.

For the Michael Bastian Uniqlo polos - should we size down? Generally i'm a medium in their clothing, should i go to a small for the polo or stay true? I checked the measurements for the polos but can't find them for the regular clothes in the same format

I actually sized up. I'm a small in Uniqlo oxfords and jackets. The small in these polos was way too tight for my taste. The medium was perfect, still looks fitted just with a bit more room. So stay true to size if you like your polos tight like a muscle shirt, but i recommend sizing up. Definitely don't size down.

Did anyone else get the email from A.P.C. about the 40% off private sale? I have a code for it and I'll share it, but I'm not sure if it's a personal one-time use code or not and I'm definitely using it to get a few things. So I'd like to know if anyone else got this email and they have the same code so we can share it.

BTW, always loved how their items are layed out by color on the website.
