Hey some people actually have values that they hold dear to themselves. Some people dont want their children doing adult videos no matter if "it doesn't hurt anyone" or "it makes them happy"

Meh well there are people who have so much conviction in their ignorance that they consider it "genius".
So his values are "opinions" but yours aren't?
Come on dog you know damn well if my man invented teleportation technology you'd be giving him props. Stop it. NTers are not an authority on sexual morality that much is clear.
Opinions can be wrong tho, and clearly any man who can create a teleportation device has no time for yambs let alone raising a child correctly.
I'm not a genius anyway, so scratch that.
But let's take adult film actress Asia Carrera. She has over 400 scenes, but she's also a member of Mensa i.e. she is ACTUALLY a genius. Just because you may only be in porn for the "sex and attention" doesn't mean you're at the bottom of society's barrel, and I'm sure she had a logical reason that applied to her for her choice in career.
You're already off on part A. Never said I would be okay with my daughter doing porn for money, actually explicitly said I wouldn't be in support if she was doing it just for money earlier, you can go find that post if you want. There are a lot of reasons a girl may want to do porn. Sometimes prior sexual abuse is a cause (I pray to God that if I have a daughter that this will never happen, but I've met too many girls to honestly believe that I could 100% prevent that from happening), and she may even feel empowered doing porn in some way. She would be her own person, so I can't tell you what the reason might be. All I know is that if the reason is valid, I won't be against it.
In regards to B, haha, I'm not even that good with numbers fam. I've just put myself out there in a lot of experiences and I've worked my *** off in each one of them. Met a lot of interesting people along the way, and gained a lot of perspective. Even if girls who do porn only do it for sex and attention, if an intelligent person is passionate about sex to the point where they would be willing to sacrifice other potential goals, then shouldn't that be enough? Let me ask you: If your son had the talent and wanted to become a male pornstar smashing female pornstars, would you feel as vehemently about him doing that vs. a daughter doing it?
Waiting on a pornstars contribution to society, now waiting on a valid excuse to do porn. Thanks.
And if my sons only talent is laying wood then I've failed him as a parent.
If my son had other fruitful options and chose porn, I'd break his jaw.
His name is my name!

So if you were Asia's father you'd be cool with her takin D for a living instead of using her genius?
My daughter could of been a heart surgeon but chose porn, how good of a father was I?
Claims to look down on people who view porn...... Knows these ******* by name.

Mensa is a lot easier to get into than most people think. Being a memeber doesn't automatically make you a genius.
156 is certainly more impressive than my 138Oh word, so you're in Mensa? You have an IQ of 156 like Asia? Okay.
at least ur based156 is certainly more impressive than my 138 . And no I'm not a member of Mensa.Oh word, so you're in Mensa? You have an IQ of 156 like Asia? Okay.
Wasn't too big on paying those fees. Not that I couldn't afford them. I'm just REALLY cheap.
I was preaching equal respect for porn stars when compared to men who consume porn. I clearly don't have respect for all based on this thread, why the hell would you even say that. Thank you Captain obvious. I don't respect all people, I do however think porn stars deserve as much respect as the men who shun them.

I know I'm based
Good luck with that insulation from the real world and society in general, especially in an era when almost anything can be found out about a person with a simple internet google search. We don't live in a magical utopian society in which people are judged on how well they were raised. Society will judge this girl based on the very public nature of her current "occupation" to support her education. Humans tend to judge and generalize about a person based on looks and actions, its part of our survival mechanism, it's why racism and sexism has persisted throughout human existence. This girl could have chosen an anonymous and lower profile means of supporting her education, but instead she is working in an industry in which her work is very public and she will never be able to erase or take it back. She chased a quick buck to help alleviate the stresses of college based expenses and for that she will have to live with the consequences that come from that type of decision. In fact it's my duty as a father to defend her from judgmental human beings who may be making her life miserable by comparing what she chooses to do to boosting cars and murdering people.
MUH EMPOWERMENT.
Freshman at Duke majoring in women's studies. Good luck with your job searching goals in 2017.
DUKE!!!!!
I used to make fun of my friends who got American studies degree majors where I did undergrad, they all have jobs. If you go to a school like Duke no matter what your major is you'll be straight. Ivy league schools have a lot of ridiculous degrees you wouldn't get jobs at from your average school because all the available jobs go to grads of elite schools.
lol a 2.0 at MIT is better than a 4.0 at lower tier school. And an IVY league name may not get you a dream job straight out of school but it most certainly gives you a leg up on the competition.
The quality of students at Harvard vs community college aren't comparable. College is what you make of it, but this notion that were you go to college doesn't matter is wishful thinking. Again look at who top law firms, law schools, medical schools etc accept. You're basically talking from the perspective of an outsider. :/
I like how you have taken 2 of my posts and made your own conclusions and deductions to support your own arguments. Where in my post did I say it myself that racism is justified? I stated that humans judge people based on looks and actions, its why wars, poverty, and despair persist in our society despite incredible human advances in medicine, technology, and engineering. I am certainly not suggesting the absurd conclusion you seem to have come up with in your second paragraph. From a historical perspective this holds true. We don't live in a utopian society, but I'm glad that you did bring up the fact that racism, xenophobia and sexism are survival mechanisms.

BlackWallSt is absolutely correct when he says that mistakes are typically made in retrospect. She may well realize in 10-20 years that her decision to make a quick buck doing porn to save on her tuition at age 20 was not the smartest decision when her daughter or son come home from school after being bullied for what their mother did in college to make a few bucks.
You said it yourself, racism is justified. All this time I thought I didn't like Marquis cause I was a racist, it turns out I have a evolutionary predisposition to being a d****.
Yea the girl should have been a little more low key and hid her sexuality. I like you we should have more of these exchanges, it's almost like you validate all my beliefs.
lol I'd take an chemical engineer with a 2.0 from caltech over a 4.0 from UofH (Guessing you mean houston :x )
You can succeed at any school, but certain schools simply give you better tools to not only succeed but to become leaders in your chosen field.
oooooh you have nothing else to add so you call me a troll.
GOTCHA DUDE.

And an IVY league name may not get you a dream job straight out of school but it most certainly gives you a leg up on the competition.College is what you make of it. Just because you attend an Ivy League college doesn’t mean you’ll graduate with honors or even graduate at all. Likewise, an Ivy League name on your diploma and resume doesn’t guarantee you’ll find your dream job straight out of school. You make your own success through the hard work you put in once you get to college whether it’s Harvard or the local community college. Ivy League colleges don’t have a monopoly on beautiful campuses. Or high teaching standards. Or strong alumni networks. Or any of the other factors that might make an Ivy League school especially appealing to you.

Wat if u worked at McDonald's as a district manager or something like dat tho... Or dats too much logic
LOL I mean I guess that's acceptable, I know they don't let foreigners become district manager so it must be a good job (sarcasm).
Keep your draws on guys. If my daughter worked at McDonalds I'd let her cook (pun intended), I'd be disappointed though.
At what point have you posted facts or statistics in this thread? I actually posted stats about Dukes alumni network and how much the grads make, you've posted nothing but opinions.
Let's see stats comparing CalTech to University of Houston.
Why are you so sure she would be doing it for free? What if your daughter just works at MCD's but she's not a wh____ .But u wouldn't be disappointed if she gargled kids's for $$ right?
As opposed to gargling kids for free? As opposed to masturbating?
Yea there are Ivy leaguers who started out at a CC but that isn't common so that point is nil. But I'd still take the lowest grade out of MIT over the highest grade out of many schools.Do you even read what you type? You would be kicked out of MIT if you had a 2.0 or be put on academic probation, if that. And to entertain that statement, seeing a 2.0 from MIT tells me that you weren't cut out for that school. Having a 4.0 from another school would have been a lot better outlook.
Again, you're stating the obvious and that's because the academic bar is set higher. You're grouping the 4.0's at the CC in with the 2.0's skewing the data. However, you will find students at Ivy Leagues who have graduated from a CC, because it's 'what you make of it' at the end of the day. You're just implying with this top talk, you will find Ivy graduates and researchers and other high-tier school graduates anywhere.
Yea my argument was never that you can't start at a bottom tier school and make it, my point was that you have a better shot of making it into top programs coming from a top tier school.
