Like everyone else I went in with extremely low expectations but the music is better than what's on the radio... Taraji steals evert scene & honestly she is so fine I could watch it on mute.
Dope show. If it was on AMC, HBO or Netflix it would be much better.

The son is way of the top kinda reminds me of a Tyler Perry character... Really extreme. But, I definitely agree Fox will cancel a show for no Reason.

As many Black people that watched the Super Bowl watched the last episode of this show.
The rating have went up every episode, which is something that hasn't happened on major network TV in 40 years.

This show is good. It's entertaining that's all I'm looking for. Plus me and my girl get lifted and watch and the damn music has us dancing. Nice little getaway from the stress of the day.

I also have been watching with the wife. This is a damn good show. I didn't know about it last year until I met Malik Yoba downtown in the Chi. Turns out he and Howard stay in the same building.

I don't like how Lucius is just telling everybody he's sick AND that he killed Bunky.
What's the point if damn near everybody is gonna know? His eldest son might just snap and kill him and make it look like ALS did or one of his experimental treatments.

It's a good show, but there's way too much **** happening at once. I don't see how this has longevity (maybe it's not meant to). They go through a lot of material in one eppy.
