The news is saying they have caught and killed all the animals except a monkey,mountain lion and Grizzly Bear.Its reported between 31-50 animals have been killed.

Are you really mad that they killed dangerous animals instead of using tranquilizers and taking the chance they don't work and the animals escape into a city?


They were kept on a farm, there is no chance that they would be able to survive if placed into a "natural" habitat with others of the same species.

I think killing them does put them to sleep.
 
It is sad that they had to kill them, but i'm guessing they have to act as quickly as possible to put an
end to this situation, since they don't know how long they've been out or how far they've traveled from the park
it would probably take a lot of time and resources to tranquilize and secure 1 animal while the rest still
run free. At least that's what I think, it's unfortunate for sure...
Do they know how the caretaker died, or how/why the cages were left open?

Disgusting.

This guy was a convicted felon who had a history of animal abuse. Yet for some reason he is allowed to own dozens of animals including endangered species in his backyard.

Ohio FTL indeed.
