I thought the texture of a cows tounge would be like liver or a thick piece of bologna .....

do u have upclose pics?  what's the flavor and all.  that looks more like brisket.

Naw i ate it all no more pics.
I saw it b4 it was prepared and there are two parts of the tounge...the back end and front end.

The back end looks like roast beef kind of and the front end looks like the bill of a platypuss. You have to scrape the skin of the tounge off that part.

When cooked the back end tastes like really really tender beef to me.
Front end i like more cuz its different. ..i cant really explain it lol but its the same texture throughout and its also very tender like you can cut it with a spoon.

Im on vacation and i asked my mom to make it b4 i leave ill take up close pics b4 and after.

Another odd thing.....the only place around here that sells it is sams club

Tongue is fuego. I know a lot of people are turned off by the texture.

Moving out of my college dorm by 10AM tomorrow. Had burgers but no buns. Threw some mozzarella, cheddar, and an egg between the two patties. Kinda awesome, but I'm also a few shots of Jack Daniels in.
