FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

You use cream, butter, and parmesan cheese? The alfredo sauces at the store suck so I need to start making my own.

first i stir fry the sliced chicken (i use boneless skinless thighs), chopped garlic, and chopped onion in butter and salt for that little additional kick of flavor. i let the chicken cook then i add a cup of heavy cream and add a dash of water and let it simmer for like 5 minutes so it's easier to mix in the parmesan cheese.

More In-N-Average praise I see.

nice..how did you like your trip down here other than the food...? mike23theking mike23theking

Humid.
Very nice area.
Crazy drivers.
Humid.
Friendly people.
Humid.
Glad I'm back in Cali.

in all seriousness, the area where I stayed was very nice! Town Square in Sugar Land... it also helped that I was only about 5 minutes away from the site, so that was also nice.

i definitely loved the Town Square area. hotel was right in the middle of EVERYTHING. Loved that. Restaurants, quick food, bars, all of that.

i just couldn't deal with the humidity. probably the only thing i complained about for 2 weeks. I couldn't believe people were just chillin outside as if it was 70 degrees with a cool breeze. I'd literally be sweating bullets from the parking structure to the hotel. and that wasn't even that long of a walk.
