Is it right to assume LA doesn't have a somewhat viable metro/subway system? Feel like that would solve a lot of issues there...

L.A. public transportation is behind other metropolitan cities, particularly with the rail system. Rail lines have been taking a long time to get built in separate areas. There are so many time gaps with building them between areas. There still isn't a rail line that goes to SoFi Stadium because it won't be completed until 2028, in time for the Olympics.

Working!

Going here the night before though:
It’s apparently a charity restaurant with a rotating menu. Current menu sounds interesting so I’m excited.
First time I’m hearing if this spot. Looks good

Came to my moms for lunch. She blessed me with shrimp ceviche. She also made chicken breast that were stuffed with cheese and ham. Also some cheese empanadas

Shout out to your moms, cause I know all of this was fire

Got a pork shoulder on - will be having pulled pork in about 30 minutes. It’s a cold damp day so I cracked the lid when my PBC was only running at about 200° - then opened the ventilation a little and it went up to 330ish and stayed there. Smells fantastic outside.

I usually have to wrap in foil to push through a stall at 160° but the higher temperature avoids that and the temperature has just kept going up.
