Is it really ever too late?

Im gunna be straight up, Ive wanted to be a NASCAR driver since I was 8 years old but that never happened.

Now here I am 20, and I want to make a push and at least attempt to see how far I can get. I really feel as though driving is my talent and that if I could get a shot, I could be really good. But of course a lot of factors and what not go into it, along with the fact that I have 0 experience

Of course all of this sounds ridiculous I know, just some dumb guys dream that will never happen. But! But, what if this is indeed my calling? Something I was always meant to do?

What do you guys think?

It's all about how hard you are willing to push yourself to get to where you want to go. It may be cliche, but if you let people tell you, that you can't do something liek the posters above this then you won't do it.

Start going to races, look for amateur races, people to contact, maybe like a trial run, get your foot in the door, build contacts, that's what every profession is about.

If it really is your dream and that's what will make you happy then go for it, don't settle for being mediocre, do it.

I was thinking about going to one of those racing schools

The way I see it, I can go and be ABSOLUTELY wrong and be horrible at it, but hey at least I can say i got to live out my dream and drove a stock car.

OR

I could go, be absolutely INCREDIBLE and get someones attention and then just go from there.

IDK like I said, this is extremely far fetched, but Im not usually an optimistic guy, but when it comes to this, I think I can do it. Or at least come close. You never know
