Yeah, dude was saying he would have to be with her for 18 years...like get the baby tested first after it's born and if it's yours, then freak out.

neil patrick harris. Wouldn't she say he took her from her home since that's where she staged the scene to originally set up Nick? She's the only person they can ask about where she was abducted since I don't think any of the neighbors saw anything. Amy's not going to tell the police they met up at the casino so it would be difficult to know about that.

We do that in the Game of Thrones thread. It's so people who haven't seen it yet don't get spoiled when they scroll through general and a post under the thread title might reveal something. I got spoiled like that a few times.

That is probably the most thoughtful thing I've seen happen on the Internet.

I usually don't catch Sunday night shows until around midnight, so I scroll through general fast in hopes of avoiding what you just described. I most recently had Beth's death spoiled in that manner.

So much :wow: :wow:

Emily ratjakowski man :pimp:hat

NPH got that dream house tho

.

This movie lowkey dropped knowledge on 3 lessons...

1. Perception / Natural Bias / Story Angle

2. Media Manipulation

3. Crazy *******

(Slight Spoilers)

From the way they frame the movie in the beginning, even though the husband tries to sell the fact that he did not do the murder, from the apparent domestic violence and side piece, this dude seems real guilty. Obviously towards halfway you figure out that this chick is hella crazy so whatever way you leaned it's pretty much decided for you, but it's obviously meant to deliver the fact that through careful construction of a situation you can manipulate most to preemptively choose a side before all clues have been revealed.

From the lawyer correcting his speech to properly imply what he means to say to the straight up slander from the fake Nancy Grace influencing public perception, it shows you how easy it is to jerk the general public's heart strings by offering a dose of cognitive dissonance to distract the viewers. Just thinking on this, it works because being as how you were not present in whatever the situation is, you can never be 100% certain of what takes place.

Lastly.. Man these **** is crazy. I know this is just a movie, by now it makes me think about the potential bullets I've dodged from the smart crazy chicks I've messed with or encountered. I know one in particular smart enough, and possibly sadistic enough to try to pull some **** like this off

Rosamund Pike was sexy as hell in this though. Imagine her saying dirty things to you in her soothing voice. I'd fall in love.

People still mad at Summer? After watching the movie a few times and discussing it in threads on here, I can't hate on her. She let him know what the deal was but dude was too in love.

Man she turned around and realised she wanted to get married after giving joseph gordon levitt the run around

Im just made had to see her engaged :frown:

I think there's a lot of people who don't think much about marriage until they find the one person who changes everything. Sucks for JLG that he wasn't the one for her.

wow at the movie exceeding the budget by $100 million

don't even think that counts international

this movie was so good.

bruh the realest line in this movie that hit me in the heart. this movie had me in my feels.

Nick: You ducking punt!

Amy: I'm the punt you married. The only time you liked yourself was when you were trying to be someone this punt might like. I'm not a quitter, I'm that punt. I killed for you; who else can say that? You think you'd be happy with a nice Midwestern girl? No way, baby! I'm it.

Nick: You're delusional. I mean, you're insane, why would you even want this? Yes, I loved you and then all we did was resent each other, try to control each other. We caused each other pain.

Amy: That's marriage.

 :x :smh:

Haven't seen this since it came out in October but the blu ray comes out this week. Will definitely be picking it up, one of the few movies that had my emotions on a swing.

The more we discuss it and the more time that goes by...

The more incredibly genius the ending actually becomes in my mind.

At first I was like whaaaa... That's it?

But weeks have gone by, I've watched a few reviews, read a few message boards with people discussing the movie, heard you guys break it down in here...
And now I'm like whoa.

That ending was so real it probably flew over many of our heads. Instead of giving us what people "think" they wanted to see, like a cliche death or divorce, we got the ugly/creepy/sad yet ultimately realistic truth as an ending.

Who she become is exactly what a guy like that would come to like. There's obviously a reason Ben started to cheat on her. That boring, been there done that phase of marriage got to him. That kind goody too shoes act by the wife is something most guys would probably get bored by quick.

As sickening as it is, the fact that she did turn into such an evil ***** probably brought back all the attraction and feelings he had for her back when they first met. It was like the honeymoon stage of your relationship coming back, except in the most twisted and u comfortable fashion.

We're most attracted and intrigued in our companions when we first meet them because we have so much to learn about them.

Ben thought he had learned everything there is to know about his wife, so it just became stale like most relationships do.

In a way he was back to trying to figure out who she was again, and that intrigue was all back.

It's clear at the end that no matter what words he was saying to his sister, the truth was he WANTED to stay with her.

There may have not been very many options, but there were still options nonetheless.

He chose to stay... So it said it all.

And after a few weeks of thinking about it...it makes sense, based on who he was throughout the movie and who he was when he met her.

Perfect ending man.
Movie just became even more outstanding in my eyes.

Will cop that blu ray with no hesitation :pimp:
