i'm not getting in this argument.... The "push" isn't the reason why Russell stumbled.. He was already out of the picture regardless because of the crossover.
This right here below is a real push off, or contact that affects the opponent's change in direction

Please
MJ was the originator of superstar calls.
You couldn't even touch him in his later years without getting a foul called on you

I feel you man, when Billups got that foul in the Boston vs. Pistons game a few games back, I was disgusted.Originally Posted by BullsRepeat3Peat

so now I said he didn't get the calls from the refs?Like I've said in other posts, in his early years he would legitimately get hammered going usually driving to the hoop, but from 95-98 he could get away with just about anything with the refs.... But this shot at Utah is not an example of "superstar treatment". They reffed the games different back then. Instead of bailing out a defender at the end, they would let the player's decide the outcome. Regardless of whether it was Michael Jordan or not, that would not be called a foul at the end of a game back then, particularly not in the NBA Finals

Regarding the topic, the answer has to come from a Finals performance, but not necessarily the deciding game.
Holden, that is rarely discussed, but you're right. There is no way Malone is supposed to know MJ is there.Originally Posted by holdenmichael
