I stopped watching them a while back. Think I've only seen 2 trailers and one teaser for another trailer.
At this point you'll spoil the movie for yourself
It's either that or they're showing a whole lot of deleted scenes.

Just got back from the 17 minute preview.
Yeah, I think it will be also. You got the core marvel audience and then you got the WWE fans wanting to see Bautista and the kiddies wanting to see the raccoon. Lol. Rocket was a d**k.

I taught Bautista was ultimate fighting. Damn ruined him for me.
I said before that this movie will make $600M. Tho I am not sure if that's the case anymore with how poor movies been doing this summer. Still tho I will stick to my guns. It would be cool to see every single phase II film pass $600M

This doing well would be great, just for the possibilities that this opens up for marvel..
We're already suppose to get dr strange.. Possibly an inhumans movie

That 17 minute preview blew me away. Raccoon definitely stole the show. Can't wait for this movie now.

Scene basically starts out like the trailers do, with them introducing the characters as they are being registered for prison. Then they are being escorted to being "processed" when star lord notices one of the guards is going through his stuff and yells at him about it(pretty sure this is in the trailers,the headphones scene) anyway he is completely subdued and shocked while the song from the trailer plays in the background. The group then walks into what seems to be a prison common area, and all the inmates instantly turn their attention to them(throwing stuff and yelling at them)
One huge alien inmate gets in peter's face but groot sticks 2 of his fingers up the inmates nose and makes them "grow" into the inmates skull.
At the same time rocket addresses everyone saying "this is our BOOTY"(referring to peter) saying that if anyone wants a piece of him they have to through them(the guardians)
groot then drops the inmate he was "growing" his fingers into and the group continues walking to sit down. There rocket tells them he needs 3 things to escape the prison, some gravity thing, a prosthetic leg from another inmate and i forgot the 3rd thing. he says they need to get all 3 things discreetly so as to not draw attention
While he is talking you see groot in the background toying with the object rocket says he needed, he eventually gets it setting off multiple alarms.
(cool thing about this part was there was a depth of field to the IMAX 3D that was "avataresque" if you will, you could see how far behind Groot really was.)
so the alarms go off and everyone scrambles to get what they need, Quill does get the leg and in the process gets a gun from a guard which he throws to rocket who is on groots back(he says 'oh yeah" the prison has these flying robot guards that are firing on groot and rocket and groot grows a bush out of one his hands to block the fire, while rocket goes HAM with the machine gun he was givin, gamora and drax are also featured fighting, but the scene is made to showcase starlord,groot and of course rocket.
they get to a tower that the prison guards use to watch the prisoners and rocket asks for the items they needed to steal, when peter gives him the leg rocket says something like
"you actually got it?? i was just joking about the leg."(got big laughs)
the group then begins to argue and everyone is showcased quite nice
at the same time there are guards firing at the tower they are in trying to blow it open and right when they do rocket changes the gravity in the common area making everyone float(except them since they are in the tower) then he laughs and says he had a plan all along
then theres like 30 second montage of stuff we have seen and then a quick scene between rocket and starlord about a plan
stuff i liked
-rocket racoon, he was all over this scene in an amazing way
-groot the way he grows and shrinks, gows flowers, can change his shape, along with the delivery of his lines are great
-groups interaction and chemistry overall was great and while rocket was easily the main draw, drax and gamora had great lines too
this is an midnight showing movie for me, first one of the summer movie season for sure

3D hurts the area in between my eyes or this would be the first time I give 3D a chance in several years.
According to amctheatres.com its 2 hours and 2 minutes.
Prolly like 1:55 without the credits

I wasn't that interested in the beginning then I kept seeing Karen Gillan in costume looking cool and like a badass. Hot female villains are nice, word to Faora and Artemisia.
