Just got my Jordan VI (6) Infrared pack, dang they DO smell like...

Jordans haven't had that "new Jordans" smell in years. Its all the chemicals they use now. Why do you think sneakgeekz is such a crazy mofo? Not cause he's pushing 70 years old, its because he's always got his nose in those early chinese specials he buys. thats what it'll do to you.
 
No big deal, you wear them on your feet not your nose

I have the glue smell on my playoff xiiis. Last time I had a similar smell was on the Pacific vii's. It goes away. The smell is whatever solvent that's used in the glue.

The 2011 Playoff XIII's? The ones I got from Finishline smelled more like suede/leather

It's a trip you mentioned getting beat 'cause I remember fellow classmates getting jumped for their Jordans and Starter jackets when I was in junior high/highschool in the early '90s
