Anyways, there's no chance that occurs at a funeral I'm at. Someone (you) should've escorted him out as soon as he went on that offensive tangent. Physically if necessary. Scratching a car after the fact is pretty lame regardless of the fact that he deserved it.

at my cousin's wedding, the pastor went on a (HILARIOUS) 5 minute diarrhea-of-the-mouth session about her & the dude she married "anointing each other with their bodies in the loving eyes of the Lord" that night. he showed up to the reception and got laid out by my uncle.

had OP's situation happened at a family funeral, dude wouldn't have made it out of the pulpit.

Keying someone's car is one of the lowest moves you can do. I don't care if he punched your mom in the face, don't touch his car, ever. Even if someone keys your car, how can you even bring yourself to slash up someone's paintwork? Do you have any respect for a person's car?

OP i feel your pain. It hurts to see your loved ones blatantly disrespected at the worst possible time by someone who couldn't care less if you scolded him because hey, he's just gonna brush off his shoulders hop in the beamer and dip. 

At least for a while people will know he's an +#+ by the mark on his car.

The only time keying a car is wrong is if it's the wrong car. I've never done it but i understand why people do it.
