Legit/Year Check - OG 98 Jordan 13

Hello all,

So I stumbled across these supposedly “OG” Jordan 13s. Wanted to get a check and see if they are in fact 1. Legit and 2. Correctly labeled as “OG”.

I’ve collected Jordan’s for several years now, and I’m pretty sure these are off, but wanted to get some more experts opinions.

Major throw offs:
1. Never seen these style laces. Should be straight black correct?
2. The bubble is WAY too clear to be from 98. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bubble this non fogged, even from some of the bigger collectors.

Without question that is an original from 1998. The laces are not though. Actually put those same exact laces in mine back then. But they are all black originally. As far as the hologram goes, they just were kept in good conditions and were worn lightly imo. They are originals and real.
Whoever had them, knew what they had and kept them in great condition.

Thank you for confirming some of my suspicions! The laces and lack of a box always throw up a flag in my mind haha. Appreciate the help!

Indeed Legit, however they will be unwearable at this point just incase you didn't know. Sole separation is a definite.

Yes, sadly unwearable. I have most of the OG 13 shoes, and glad I can add this to the collection now with peace of mind. Just had a few flags at first
