On August 26, 2007, Sammy Griner made meme history when his mother uploaded a picture of him at the beach to Getty Images. His triumphant pose has helped countless people express that feeling of awesome success. Griner's mom has continued to post pictures of her son, who is now around 7, on her Flickr account.
Before her internet fame as a meme, Carly Phillips was already known in certain circles as a romance novelist. In 2011, He author's photo was taken and used as a template to criticize prejudiced and hypocritical suburban mothers. In fact, Phillips argues, she is actually a cool mom who lets her kids watch R-rated movies and stay up late!
Laina Walker had no idea how much attention she would get for her YouTube parody of Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" rewritten with crazy, stalker lyrics. When she became her own stalkerish meme, Laina said it was a little disturbing, but mostly hilarious. She's now about 22 years old.
Kyle may have taken a horrible 7th grade photo, but it lives on in infamy as "Bad Luck Brian." Now, Kyle owns up to the meme, and he was even recognized by Seth Rogen because of it. Seems like a bit of unusual good luck.
"Hipster Barista" is a real barista! Dustin Mottson has actually won both regional and national barista competitions. He's also not exactly a fan of his meme, saying that he and the other baristas he works with are actually very down to earth.
The "Successful Black Man" meme is used to subvert racial stereotyping. The image was originated as a stock photo entitled "Handsome African American business man dressed in a black suit." That model is now an internet mainstay.
Griffin Kiritsy has the misfortune of his face being forever associated with those awkward things we did as freshmen before we knew any better. At least he had the good humor to recreate his famous freshman photo as a senior!
Scumbag Steve has become the scourge of the internet for being that one friend who's always asking for money or inconveniencing you in some other way. He still looks like a total scumbag, and he kept the hat!
As the antithesis to Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg is a dude that you totally want to have around. His hair may have grown out and he may be sucking on a lollipop instead of a joint, but you can still tell he's the same old good guy.
This little, pig-tailed girl started a national trend when her image holding a series of Goosebumps books went viral. It's good to see that her reading habit is continuing as she ages.
"Sudden Clarity Clarence" started as a stock image on an Australian website, but it grew into so much more. The image of a guy seemingly suddenly realizing something very important or meaningful in the middle of a huge party just worked for so many internet users.
We've all been to a level of intoxication that just isn't pretty, and that's what Really High Guy (also known as [10] Guy) really captures. Well, it's good to see that he's finally eating something.

know most of the memes except the lady with the dog and the guy with the beard and glasses. dont think ive seen those before

Today we witness the ultimate moustache goatee combination that rocks the very foundations of the heterosexual and homosexual worlds. Ksteezy from Niketalk and styleforum fame has gone from being a shy, innocent young boy that grew up in the borough of The Bronx to crossdressing across stages of the world under his new moniker, Adam Lambert.

Wow I was wondering if these people knew that they are infamous on the net. Seems like they embraced it.

Some time last year, a Black Dominican man was teaching da class, b. He explained how da hemi's stock is still rising, why da musket is an essential in life, why cos and sin is all you need on NikeTalk, and why da blackboard he is teaching from isn't a blackboard. Being da "Good Guy Teacher" he is, he posted da lecture notes from da sidekick right after class. Now, you can't find ninjahood on NikeTalk anymore, especially after getting treated like Will on Da Fresh Prince (after his pops left AGAIN). He currently resides in da Heights, and is still trying to cop da Jesus Piece, b.
