I don't know where you're @ in the DMV, but I can vouch for the thrift stores in the Hampton Roads area. When I was stationed in Norfolk, I saw many sneakers and other items you wouldn't expect in a thrift store as well, including a prototype flak vest used in Iraq. Over half of my collection is from the 3 Salvation Army's and a Goodwill in Va Beach. I hated being stationed there, but they always had good stuff.

Im 99% sure those French XII you have are sales samples.
They are probably worth alot more than whatever you paid for them lolz.
