Name Your Top 5 Rap Verses Ever

I love how many times cappadonna has been mentioned for his only notable contribution to hip-hop ...

I love that verse, and have never heard a single verse from him that has come close

I find myself rapping it to myself almost daily... It's just so Ill and long ... Winter Warz over all is :smokin

I love how many times cappadonna has been mentioned for his only notable contribution to hip-hop ...

It's like Tony Delk having a 53 point game

What an obscure and accurate metaphor

You sir, may have a rep...

I don't agree with the Delk/Capp comparison at all. I understand it was one shining moment in a dull career but there's a difference between doing something that's been done a decent amount of times and a once in a lifetime performance that will forever be remembered. Ain't nobody talking about Tony Delk in 2015 but that Capp verse will live on as one of the best ever.

Stack's last verse on Aquimini. His flow seemed so effortless.

Ye's last verse on Gone. Classic Kanye goin in.

Em's suicidal verse on Stan. The emotion he put in I almost forget at times marshals rapping.

Nas' 2nd and 3rd verse on 2nd Childhood. It's a tie with both verses having great storytelling.

Dom's 2nd verse on Platium Chanel. The reason why I don't wear lebrons to the club.

Kurupt verse on "smooth"
The whole damn "gimmie the loot" BIG
3000 on "art of storytelling 4"

Inspectah Deck - "Triumph"
Jay-Z "D'Evils" (2nd Verse) We used to fight for building blocks / Now we fight for blocks with buildings that make a killing...
Jay-Z "Grammy Family"

After that I kind of have trouble... So I'll pick 1 from two of my favorite songs.

Notorious B.I.G. "Juicy" (3rd verse) Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis.......
2Pace "Changes" (1st Verse) Not the greatest verse, but there is so much power behind what he was saying.

Some of my personal favorites:

Jay-Z - Allure (1st verse)
Jay-Z - Diamonds from Sierra Leone
Jay-Z - Light Up
Nas - NY State of Mind (1st verse)
Nas - It Ain't Hard to Tell (1st verse)
B.I.G. - Dead Wrong (any of them really)
B.I.G. - Warning (1st verse)
Ghostface Killah - Triumph
Kanye West - This Way

I know that's a lot more than five but :shrug

So much dope music it is difficult to narrow it down to just 5. So I'll post randoms as I think of them. For me, for starters would be:

3 Stacks "Gangsta @&$!" From Stankonia.
Bun B's 2nd verse from "Gravy"
Pimp C's first verse from " Diamonds and wood"
Hov "Already Home", that Hov, I got my own lane already stood out for me.
Big Boi "Return of the "G" "
Outkast "Aquemini"
