NFL teams don't start bad players for 80 plus games
You realize thats 5 seasons? Most teams would be happy to get that
So now its not the defense, its the playcalling
Marino definitely had an influence on the offense
And its not like John Elway had some stellar running game most seasons except I think Bobby Humphrey

He has some clunkers but he also has some wins and made 5 times the amount of Super Bowls Marino did in the same conference

true but elway got to the big game, 3 times with the only all pro on defense and a bunch of scrubs. if your boy marino is the greatest he wouldnt have 1 superbowl appearance and it being a loss no matter how many spreadsheets cp throws out. marino being the greatest is laughable. a great all time qb no doubt but greatest? lulz.

until td, sharpe, mccaffrey, smith, and a good defense showed up did he finally win. but before they showed up he still lead his team to 3 superbowls. not 1 but 3.
