The 98 is like the bastard son of the 97, and it's the color blocking that makes them attractive. There are dozens and dozens of shoes I would rather have in simple CWs (like those pictured) over the 98.

Grey/blacks are decent. Wish they had a black midsole and swoosh though.

Red ones need a contrasting swoosh as well.

Simple colour blocking looks wack on 98s needs to have at least one brightish colour on them otherwise it looks bland
