If you use iTunes, why not just do iTunes match for $25 a year? Your songs get upgraded to higher quality versions and it backs everything up automatically.

Best Buy BF ad last year didnt advertise this but I scooped up 3 (maximum per customer) 1.5 TB external WDs for $50 each. Best deal ever. Got two still in shrink wrap.
