NY or California ?

at the last pic you posted.

I enjoy the 4 seasons in NYC, especially now that global warming has dialed back the severity of winter.

Plus I'd take the train situation over driving everywhere in most of Cali.

Anybody saying the women in either region have a huge advantage over the other is lying and/or had a horrible experience in either place.

I love living in California and really can't imagine living anywhere else. Weather is great year round. Whatever you want to do is within driving distance:
Beaches
Mountains
Snow (just wait til it gets cold)
Camping Sites
Amusement Parks (Universal, Disney, 6Flags, Knotts, Seaworld, etc..)
Museums (LACMA, La Brea Tar Pits, Huntington Librabry, Balboa Park, etc..)
Casinos (Vegas, Harrahs, Pechanga, Morongo, etc...)
Shopping (South Coast Plaza, Rodeo Drive, lots of outlets, etc..)
Almost anything you want/need can be found in California.
And the weather pretty much allows you to do most of those anytime of the year.

Transportation can be a problem if you don't like driving but it's getting better. They are making a lot of bus lines and they are building more subways in the congested LA area (digging under Beverly Hills was just approved). They are also expanding/widening and making more freeways.

I'm from NY. I was in Cali in Jan. Didn't like it so much. Weather is great, yeah. I think NY weather is better though. When it gets too hot and I get fed up with it, it starts to get chilly and vice versa. As for beautiful women. I think they're all over the place ... honestly didn't see so many in LA though .. BUT hey that's just me.

I'm from San Francisco and spent a lot of time in LA. But, I'd rather live in NYC.

LA= Great weather, cool people, women who take care of themselves to impress, and alot of nightlife and places to go.

NYC= Better public transportation, great things to do round the clock, women of all kind, more types of cultures, downtown/urban living.

It comes down to whether you want a somewhat relaxed and sunny atmosphere or you want a metropolitan fast-paced environment.

^ more cultures?? women of all kind??

Los Angeles was ranked #1 diverse city just last year by CNBC (New York was second).

Where in the Valley?

just kidding.  westside is great.  been out here for bout 7-8 years now.  cant really picture myself living anywhere else.  and i moved here from Huntington Beach (which is also a great city) so its not like I was comin from the slums or anything.  just be prepared to pay for the high cost of living.  housing cost is no joke.  (not that there is any direct correlation but...) my stupid HOA fees are probably on par with what it would cost you to rent a nice 1-2bd apt in other parts of the country.

Haha, I feel you. I love my city though, it's home. I live in LA right now, and it doesn't do much for me. Much rather be back in the Bay. It might not be THAT poppin' in SJ, but I like how it's in the middle of things. It's easy to get to SF, Santa Cruz, etc ...

Hopefully this leads to the city being fully connected by subway. ****ing Bel Air/Beverley Hills trying to mess it up for everyone else.

NorCal > SoCal

Say you split CA in half. The bay all the way up to the oregon border, and Fresno all the way down to the Mexican border. I'll take NorCal all day everyday.
