What's up Niketalk,

I am flying to NYC and want to make the most out of my trip. I am looking for places to eat, see, and experience as a local rather than tourist.

I am staying in Herald Square, so I will be in the Midtown to Lower Manhattan part of NYC.

Let me know what's good fam.

Go to the Trader Joes on 14th and 3rd ave.

Always some bad broads getting groceries around there.

Also, hit up Washington Heights like the 170's they sell great weed real cheap out there.

These are some things I've picked up in my two months living here so far.

If you're on St Marks go to Dallas BBQ.

They got those gigantic drinks and huge hennessy wings.

also alot of popping Japanese spots on St Marks.

Lots of chicks with tattoos hang out on St Marks.

Go to the pink houses in Brooklyn. A real chill spot that's worth checking out.

Japonica on University by NYU has the best sushi. Doesn't have Nobu's name recognition, but pure quality. Fresh materials flown in from Alaska, California, etc.

For food:
-Calle Ocho (unlimited sangria on weekends) by Central Park
-Yuca Bar (Latin Food) on Ave A
-Gyu-Kaku (Japanese BBQ) on Cooper

Two very great suggestions, dude is not lying about that Trader Joes, some of the most beautiful women you will see.

Sarita's (S'Mac) for macaroni and cheese. Coolhaus for ice cream sandwiches.

Used to be a spot called 7A (on 7th and Ave A of course) that had lobster and shrimp Mac and cheese that closed down, my heart still hasn't recovered. :smh:

This among many others. If you're up and out there late night hit up a halal cart.

Do not go to Dallas BBQ. Wild overrated.

Drinks are cool, but the food is meh.

Go to Kenka on St. Marks for an authentic feeling Japanese restaurant. Also Boka Bon Chon on St. Marks for probably the best wings you'll ever have. Its Korean fried chicken, get the soy garlic flavor and ask for spicy mayo. Matter of fact, theres a Bon Chon on 5th Ave between 33rd and 34th St.

Go walk the Highline during sunset, nice view.

Relax around Washington Sq park. On a nice afternoon its relaxing there.

If youre in Soho, try Cafe Habana (Cubano is my fav).

14th Street, you could hang out in the square and head over to Saigon Market for banging Viet food. Their fried calamari is #1.

Head to DUMBO on the BK side for some nice views as well.

Done Highline and Shack Shake....

Will hit up Artichoke pizza for sure.

Anyone know any good Italian restaurants in Little Italy? Good breweries?
