Official 2016 Boxing Thread: 11/5/2016 - Vargas/Pacquiao Top Rank PPV.

Marquez is 43 with bad knees. He's not coming back.
I wouldn't be so sure

Juan Manuel Marquez Not Worried About Long Layoff in Return http://dlvr.it/MzwJBh  #boxing

I might be the only one siding with bobby....

At first i laughed, but jmm aint no punk, i see him making
bud work and actually improve his defense.

Marquez been saying that for the past 2 years. Crawford is going to destroy him inside 5 rounds unless he chooses to carry him.

Im not sayin juan would get the W.

All im saying is, hes gona make crawford fight better....better then we have seen....i might be wrong tho.

Come on Juan Marquez is not Mr. Miyagi. Crawford is going to be all business and it's going to be easy work. It's going to look like an encore of Hopkins - Smith Jr and Cotto- Martinez.

I dont think it would be a good fight but it would be a big name scalp for Bud's resume, and JMM would get to cash out.

The fight would be easy to make as well considering Zanfer is basically TR's MX affiliate.

Bradley beat Marquez fairly easy IMO and that was a few years ago. Crawford would do the same if not better.

Marquez in his prime needed 3 rounds to figure out out his opponent. As soon as Crawford turns Southpaw, Marquez won't know what hit him.

Orlando Salido Targets Francisco Vargas Rematch http://dlvr.it/N2JhYl  #boxing

They let these two go at it.....felt like Salido was getting away with a lil too much at the end, but this should be a slugfest.

 This

Loma-Salido 2 is a terrible fight.

Welp. Fair enough. I guess Salido v Vargas is more evenly matched. I feel like the fight has 0 actual stakes though, but I totally understand what you guys are saying.

Edit: Not that Loma Salido has tons at stake either  . I just feel like Loma deserves to still have that 0 in his record and Saldio did him dirty, plus Loma is obviously the best boxer of the 3 guys and I really just love watching him fight.

We don't need to see that fight again to prove that Loma is the better fighter.

Him and his team were feeling themselves and made a terrible decision in deciding to fight perhaps the most crafty veteran in the game in one of his first professional fights, it is what it is.

I'd much rather see Loma fight Corrales.

Jeff Horn is a pretty good boxer. He's not p4p calibur but he's definitely more than a domestic fighter.
