Official 2017 Knicks Offseason thread, Phil Jackson gone

Best case scenario today:

Knicks L (@ DET)
Pelicans W (@ CHA)
Kings W (vs DEN)

Would put us in a 3 way tie for 6th

Those updates get sillier when you're expecting the Kings and Pelicans to win games against certain teams.

Triangle sucks, why can't the knick play street ball, just go out and let them do whatever they want, its not gonna make a difference anyway.

Even if we get a good draft pick we will be in the same position next year because of the wack triangle. We really play at a slow pace and never get easy buckets. It's like we have to play perfect basketball to win the game and that relies heavy on mid range shooting. The defense on the other hand is a different story lol

Tobias Harris' season high is 26 pts.

He has 19 with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

Melo only took 9 shots in 35 minutes :nerd:

Maybe he could have some knee soreness & sit tomorrow :nerd:

Phil is so persistent with the triangle but it has never got us 1 winning season his whole tenure here lol

It's cuz he hasn't put together one good roster since he got here.

It's like he wants to rebuild but also keep the triangle system. Almost as if he wants to prove he can form and build a winning team with the triangle since the knock against him is he's given superstars to win with it.

Plus it's not like any superstars were coming to the Knicks to join Melo and they definitely won't now to play for Phil and especially Dolan.

I didnt see the game or check ESPN, but im going to assume we lost because we're the Knicks. what was the damage ? how much did we lose by?
