But at the end of the day, we’re stoked for Big KRIT to eventually emerge from their (large) shadows a fully formed artist. It can and should happen. Maybe not until he finally releases a real album—like, a for real NON INTERNET MIXTAPE album. ReturnOf4Eva as well as his previous mixtapes still seem like a test run for the real thing. As ReturnOf4Eva is an extremely reverent Southern rap tape with plenty of bright moments. It’s well worth your time and your zero dollars, but KRIT could also stand to loosen up a bit, and that could happen when he steps out from behind the safety blanket of his predecessors.

Dude sounds stupid .
He would be praised by the whole hipster-music blog-sphere if he sounded completely odd like lil b or golf wang. He would be heralded as the next great rap prospect if he was like Nas or Kool G or any new york rapper the hipster-blogsphere loves to fake like they are huge fans of.
Krit stands on his own two feet musically and uses the Souths rich musical history as a template and an inspiration.Seldomly do we here a rapper in general that has songs that knock in the truck and can spit .He can brag and remain humble .Dude is the southern every man.He doesn't run from his roots or beg for others.Dude is carrying on tradition right now and he is a much needed rapper from the south dude is spitting and he represents aspects of every state below the Dixie. He has made it extremely far to say he hasn't had a bunch of cosigns or a thousand features from other artist to bust himself to the limelight.

If that mixtape was %%@% lyrically to you then I don't know what to tell you. However, it's completely idiotic to compare Frank Ocean and KRIT. Already bad enough that dudes compare rappers that aren't remotely similar. Now we have this.

bravo to the whole post my man....
You spot on about the media bruh...their whole stance and angle on things is just predictable and flat out tired....but the thing about it is, a lot of hip hop fans have adopted the same mentality or never have embraced going out to catch on to new artists to begin with but all of a sudden start shouting from the rooftop their a die hard fan when ERYBODY ELSE says that, "whatever rapper" is cool, then that guy becomes IT.

I just smh at the fact that KWH was on a lot of end of the year lists on these internets and NT's, but probably didnt receive a third of the notoriety or acclaim from the general public or popular music staples that "So Far Gone" received during its run

Im looking at this Return of 4Eva work and knowing its an excellent album but wonder will it really arrive in people eardrums as it rightfully deserves or still go unnoticed because of 1. No cosign 2. No Swag 3. No Anti-Swag etc etc etc
