Don't know why. KD VII is one of the most comfortable shoes and the amount of good combos is crazy.

In the beginning I wasn't sure about the shoe, but on foot they are amazing.

I agree with lypac on that even when there loose they're tight. The mesh doesn't really move when you go to put them on

Yeah thats where I have a problem with is in the front of the shoe. Tight as hell.

The midsole is fairly thick. I would get a few more wears in to let it mold to your foot. Loosening the Flywire works too . TTS and half up works for me.

If those are Navy Gold and Red then I'm on em. If they're black or that color isn't strait red but pinkish. Then these are a total fail.

Debating whether to get the KD7 or Kobe 9 EM as my next ball shoe. I've read that there's some heel slippage (even with elite socks on) in the KD7 when you play something I haven't noticed when I've tried the shoes on. You guys suggest going .5 down to eliminate that heel slippage when running?
