Cole Haans are really good. I also like Kenneth Cole's too.


Ya'll didn't have to talk about my measurements like that, but now you see why I'm going to have to go custom.

Cole Haans are really good. I also like Kenneth Cole's too.

I really wouldn't suggest Kenneth Cole. Worst comes to worst, i rather get some Rockport or Ecco. For a $200 price budget, Cole Haan is a decentshoe. For $200, you can also find some good Allen Edmonds (probably one of the best for the bang dress shoes out there).

Also, visit your local DSW, they have a pretty good selection of shoes for great prices.

I read about this one company in April's forbes mag, they do bespoke dress shoes for either 3 or 4 hundred, I need to find the mag and post the link. Theytake measurements of your feet using a laser scanner, then send the measurements to Romania ( I think) where the shoes get made. Usually custom John Lobbs cost3+ Gs. They also store your size so you can order online, they have 100s of styles.

There's some to be found around the U.S. for bespoke shoes. There are plenty in HK too which could copy practically any shoe design from any brand.

Kenneth Coles are just badly made and even at a discount, I still feel like it's a rip-off. Most of their shoes will not last long and most of their designare square toe, which I despise. There are much better choices for the price when it comes to Kenneth Cole.

I don't like the square toe myself which is why I haven't bought anything lately. I do have some square heels though which aren't bad.

Regardless of the type of shoe you get, ALWAYS have some shoe polish. I can't stress that enough. I get compliments all the time on my polished shoes. Isee some people that look like they been trailblazing in theirs though.

If your a little restricted on price and want to spend under $120, Bostonian usually has some nice sales and shoes for a very, very fair price, and their shoesare good quality.

buy cheap suits 200-300 while you are young and for normal/office use, buy someplace that has a tailor on site
When you reach a certain point in income/age buy 1 really nice suit for special/more formal occasions
