For all the Jordan fans:


New sneaker spot! STUDIIYO 23 is the only independent boutique with a Jordan account. But it's much more than that. I went in there for the first time cause I was just driving by and saw the custom Jordan display! I met the owner Moh and kicked it  with him as he showed me around. It's been open for just a week but it's looking very nice. He wants it to be much more than a sneaker and clothing shop. He has monthly artists expo, TVs and projectors and he has plans to create events that involve art and community. Definitely check it out. I had to cop Charcoal 9s and a shirt just to support and you should too!

Eh, cool store but having a Jordan account means nothing these days considering JB has put out crap products for the past few years. If this was 1999-2006, I might say I definitely need to check out that place, but now, I don't think I'll ever stop by unless I am in the neighborhood.

Now if they can get exclusive Kobes, that's a different story

I was in the neighborhood, lol. Shop was nice looking. I'm the type of dude who likes shops that actually look like a retail store. I'm not down with the extravagant displays. I actually like to hold and examine shoes, but when shoes are enclosed in a case or suspended from something out of reach, I can't get with that. I seen this nice shop in Orange County that had kicks in stand up freezers like at the grocery store. You could still open the doors and peep the kicks.

ATTENTION SOUTH MINNEAPOLIS!
Last night, September 17th, 2010, my car and about 5 other cars were broken into on 38th and Chicago. This happened sometime between 5am and 6am.

Here is a list of what was stolen from my car;

Garmin Nuvi 200 and charger

That really sucks man, but why you got so much $$$ in the whip? That's asking to get jacked. Don't listen to the media, it's still a recession, thieves are out in full force.

I just moved into a nice apartment. Left some broken, old, crusty camping chairs leaning against the wall of my underground parking space and someone took them. Camping chairs man! #!% steals camping chairs?

Thieves are scum bro.

Yeah they really are. For some reason I thought that Lexus would make a decent THEIF PROOF glove compartment, apparently not. Sucks that I had to learn the hard way... Learning that all you need to get into a LOCKED glove compartment is a screwdriver and a little bit of muscle.

    Anybody have a favorite spot to get backpacks? Ineed a new one the one I have now is not helping the way I thought itwould. Or any brands yall would recommend?

I dunno if you feel like doing some Sherlock Holmes work but that sounds to me like a potential lead. Shake down some dudes and find out who did this to your car. I'm not the getting even/revenge type but man, somebody's gotta teach thieves a lesson.

I like The North Face backpacks. They are made very well and got a lot of useful features. Kind of spendy though. There is a North Face store in Uptown if you need one right away, but you can find them online for cheaper. I got the Heckler a couple years ago. Now I'm looking for a small TNF daypack.

My roommate was home while the guy was fixing the windows and once he was finished he went to an auto shop on 37th/chicago. He stopped there and was talking to the owner of the place (who looked pretty shady) and then left. My roommate then stopped there to talk to the owner and the owner said to him "this is a pretty rough neighborhood, you better watch yourself", then walked back into his shop....

I used to tutor at the school right by there, Risen Christ. It's not the worst neighborhood but it can be rough.

Chalk it up as a lesson learned, don't keep valuables in your car.

NP, Yeah it is for he First Avenue show. Place has turned into a home for me sorta haha. I been going there for many event lately. I hate dress code bs places. free DJ Premier set  Red Bull Big Tune event was dope last night. Good to see %!%@ live.
Gucci is $30 on Sunday at Epic, he ain't worth effing 30live-_- All the groupies probably going to be on his nuts there though.

That sounds hella sketchy man.

Putting myself into a thief's shoes, I'm not gonna waste time and try to pry something open. I would just do a smash and grab (something in plain view).

Somebody who knew you kept that stuff in your glove compartment did it to you. Or someone who has seen you put it in there (somebody watching).

I had my car stolen from school (St. Thomas) right out of the parking lot. I don't think thieves just drive around randomly looking for stuff to steal. They scope out the place and make sure you got something they want before they make their move. I am certain my car was being watched before they stole it.

Ight I'm done with the stealing/theives deal. Thieves will get their's in the end, best believe.
