Just call up the store and have them hold your size. They will hold it for you over the phone for at least that day.

14th street put them out yesterday afternoon, as did the times square location (745 seventh avenue).  Neither of those locations have a size 9 though, as I got em.  They will hold them for you if you call ahead.
