How do i put borders on my pics using photoshop?

Erm, all lenses are curved - a flat lens wouldn't do anything.
You could get a difference using better quality glass but it usually comes down to lighting and the appropriate aperture and shutter speed. Try and avoid theextremes of aperture and focal length and your lens performs a bit better too.

I think its just good lighting and the proper white balance. What im wondering is how she managed to keep the camera steady for those shots, unless it was on a tripod, or these was massive amounts of light and she used a fast shutter speed. Your lens and camera should be fine, just adjust the sharpness in photoshop maybe? not sure if that helped.

mmm well, i just kept my hands steady, i was surrounded by an area that was bright as for shutter speed i used auto.
