Can anyone recommend me a good tripod? I don't really know what to look for or any of the good brands/companies. I shoot with a Nikon D90 btw( just in case the kind of camera is important in selecting a tripod)
I'm guessing from your avy and your sig your from Cali? I know in NYC you can basically get into ANY sporting event, or really get intoanything as long as you have a press pass, which is given out by the NYPD. If you could attain a Press Pass you should be good and you won't even need'connections' then. This is how it works here: NYC PRESS CREDENTIALSOriginally Posted by knightngale

i think i bought my D60 from the same seller you are looking at. i think i would go with the $409 option. although, i did end up buying that mock "fisheye" lens. the photos come out well if you use it with an optional flash. also, a subscription to pc photo is nice, but its not that expensive to get anyway.Originally Posted by rizobs

these two are examples with the my sb400 flash. the pics in natural light are not that great at all, i will probably never use this fisheye unlessi have a speed bounce. the one i bought was $35 and i attach to the 18-55mm and it gives the most distortion at around 27-33mmOriginally Posted by illmatickal
Thanks, do you think you can send me pics you took using the "fisheye" and the 35mm? I'm leaning towards the $409 option now and will probably spend the money towards another lensOriginally Posted by rizobs

The "fisheye" lens is not really a lens, and it won't be clear, for instance. It's just 60 bucks worth of nonsense. Spent that extra money on a telephoto lens or a 50mm f/1.8.
But the question is ... how hard is it to get one ?Originally Posted by Kickmatic23

are being filed one letter with all the applicants names will suffice.)
