^ I only got to watch really into our 1st series of the 2nd half.. but he was really bad too.. worst game I've seen him play

but then again, that goes for a lot of people on the team for this season.. goes for coaches too.. and I only really watched a half

even with the 3 INTs.. 2 or 3 more of his passes could have easily been picked, like defenders dropping his passes picked

but again whole team was bad yesterday.. hard to really find anything positive to take away from it
 
the 60 pass attempts looks ridiculous in light of what he said today:

"We have a rookie quarterback," Pederson said. "We have to have time to develop this quarterback. This doesn't happen overnight."

and even more so when you consider how often dude has talked about needing to work with wentz on his mechanics (something we knew going in, which is why they wanted to be patient with him)

but you don't go from that mindset, to having dude throw it 60 times

whelp, 1 more year of ertz at the very least after his contract extension..

hopefully him and jmatt are relegated to very very small roles in the offense after this offseason
 
^^^^ Jmatt can handle a bigger role, just need someone competent across from him to take some pressure off him.
 
use jmatt on the outside as the 3rd WRs..

get a guy with better hands for the slot.. also looks like the slot guy should be quicker in this offense
 
Wentz will be fine, I've lost no faith but this coach is doing him no favors

I hope Lurie won't be afraid to make a change if it comes to proving Dougie P was a mistake
 
Yea it's hard to put so much blame on Wentz considering the circumstances, can't expect a rookie QB to come in polished at all phases. Apparently Dougie "confirmed" he has full support of Lurie and expects to be back next season. I can't see Lurie axing him after a year unless he just does something astronomically wrong in the next 4 games(like hoisting it up 60 times AGAIN, or challenging a play for 2 yards)
 
Given state of our oline, celek should be playing a ton more snaps..

Given the shht out WRs and ertz are doing, celek and trey should be getting more snaps..


And given all of those things we should be using sproles in the slot.. even with another back in there
 
Also, I know dudes gotta be killing ertz in the film room and in practice..

We roasted dudes in high school for shht like that
 
Ironically enough, Chip knew to use Celek as an extra blocker at the expense of Ertz on the field.
 
Y'all know how I feel.. if you ain't part of the team we'll be in season after next, well you're expendable

Draft picks and free cap space > present value

Peters is lone exception because we can't get wentz killed
